Resident Smart Access using Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR)

Abstract

Resident Smart Access using Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) is acomprehensive access control system that includes visitor management,developed for Seri Intan Residence. The objectives are to provide hassle-freeaccess to gated communities and computer-based visitor management withthe help of image recognition technology. The system will automaticallycapture every vehicle and recognizes it as a way of authorizing residents toeasily access their gated community. With the proposed system beingdeveloped, it will help to solve problems that are present in the currentsystems and give an implementation of an access system that is up to pair withthe current standard of security and technology.
